Ever wondered doing things fast? Not just fast, but really really really really really really really really fast?! You can go to your destination by a blink of an aye and escape traffic jam… I WISH that happens (so that I won’t be late for school! haha) really, ever wished things like that happens? (like stopping time… I will be blogging about hypertime, because I just saw my favorite movie, “CLOCK STOPPERS”. The movie is not about stopping time but going to hypertime, and stop the bad guys.. haha !! “There isn’t just one dimension of time,” says Itzhak Bars of the For me, with hypertime or not, im just glad to live in a world that has surprises everyday… we don’t know what inventions and technologies will surprise us tomorrow, the next day, or the next…

FIREWALL? hmmmm...well it literally means "collection of security measures designed to prevent unauthorized electronic access to a networked computer system." (that's from wikipedia...+_+) Labels: firewall, the wall is on fire, week3
But im here not to discuss what firewall literally means but the movie entitled firewall starring Harrison Ford
(i think?).
Here it goes, the movie is full of drama, suspense and action, it also has really cool stuff in it (like the use of biometrics, GPS system, hacking files [i just remembered "hatching" haha, miss kath] using IDs as keys, and ofcourse computer systems and firewall).
Jack (Harrison Ford) designed a computer system and firewall to protect his employer and bank from fraud... bla bla bla (just watch the movie) I really loved the scene where jack said their dog has a GPS system installed in the it's collar ! really loved it !! nice thinking...
Ill just make this short. Overall, the movie is rated two thumbs up! not just with the story but also the information you can learn and maybe use in real life... (i know i would. i want to try the GPS for my dog! haha !!)

Well, basically artificial intelligence is also called "the intelligence of machines", or as kids would call it, ROBOTS... Bunch of metals put together to look exactly like humans, and also try to think like humans (i wish). Labels: artificial, intelligence, neo, rivera, week2
People like us are called homosapiens which means "intelligent humans". We think before we do certain things and consider consequences... Lets say these intelligent machines works and has the ability to walk the walk and talk the talk, what are they called? homo... homo... homo... aaaaahhhhh !! i can't think of a thing...
maybe HOMOFICTION? i dont know ...
So far the most successful "humanoid robot" today is named ASIMO (powered by honda), but according to the makers and scientists who designed asimo, the robot uses sensors and algorithms to overcome obstacles and navigate stairs...
No one can tell if robots can think like humans (or better) in the future and make human race extinct and robots will rule the earth... But let's not forget, the one and only creator who made all things around us and will be there millions and millions of years from now, God. :)

“What's your passion, or what do you want to do years from now?” our professor asked me, I answered, “I want to own and manage an advertising agency”. But that’s not the only thing I want, actually I really want to do many things in life. Starting with finishing college, because I really believe, finishing college is just the beginning of the REAL journey… a journey to success. Back then if people ask me what do I want to be when I grow up, I tell them, I want to be the next Juan Luna, because till now, I’m really passionate about arts (drawing, painting). But when high school came, I got into theater and performing on stage (singing and dancing), then people said I should enter showbiz… I really want to do all of these things!!! But if God will give me the chance to have ability to all of these, I will surely grab it! But for now, my goal is to finish my studies… If opportunities will come my way, hmmm… yeah ill go for it, but still, studies first! :)

Below are the complete set of questions which you can answer, choose between YES or NO (just write your answers on a piece of paper). Don’t look at the answers located at the bottom part. GO!

10. Would changing your daily routine be an important motivation for starting your own enterprise?
11. Yes, you may really enjoy work. But are you willing to work overnight?
12. Are you willing to work "as long as it takes" with little or no sleep to finish a job?
13. When you complete a project successfully, do you immediately start another?
14. Are you willing to commit your savings to start a business?
15. Would you also be willing to borrow from others?
16. If businesses should fail, would you immediately work on starting another?
17. Or, would you immediately start looking for a job with a regular paycheck?
18. Do you believe being an entrepreneur is "risky"?
19. Do you put your long-term and short-term goals in writing?
20. Are you easily bored?

Last night, my cousin went to our house with his macbook... He was a windows user but he switched to mac years ago... I used his macbook, to make the assignment in compsci and i was dumfounded and i dont know where to go, i dont know where to type and make a powerpoint presentation. I really dont know where to go... >:(
Then a question just popped in my head, why cant they make just one operating system, rather than having different types? Cuz they are all the same, they just differ in style and name and prices.
I think windows is the most user friendly of all the operating systems i know, yeah people say its a host of many viruses, but hello, there are tons of anti virus applications that you can buy or even download... windows rules !! :)
